2.1 Personal Information

  • Beer posts (images, ratings, descriptions)
  • Comments and likes ("Cheers")
  • Follower/following lists

2.3 Payment Information

Payment features are disabled for the current App Store and Google Play submission. Digital chip purchases, supporter purchases, business promotion payments, and cash-out payouts are not available in this submission, and we do not collect payment card information for these disabled flows.

If payment features are re-enabled in a future release, this policy, the store privacy labels, and the app store metadata must be updated before release. Digital in-app purchases must use the native App Store or Google Play billing systems where required by store policy.

2.4 Device Information

We may collect information about your mobile device, including:

  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • Unique device identifiers
  • IP address

2.5 Location Data

With your permission, we may collect location data to:

  • Show nearby pubs and breweries on the map
  • Enable check-in features at venues

Location data is only collected when you use these features and have granted location permission.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

4.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase (Database & Authentication): Stores your account data securely. Privacy Policy
  • Google AI (Gemini) (Beer Image Analysis): Analyzes beer images to identify beers. Images are processed but not retained. Privacy Policy
  • Google Maps (Location Services): Powers the pub and brewery map. Privacy Policy
  • Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: For authentication. Subject to Apple/Google privacy policies.
  • Sentry (Crash Reporting): Collects anonymous crash reports and performance data to improve app stability. Privacy Policy
  • Expo (Push Notifications & Updates): Delivers push notifications and over-the-air updates. Privacy Policy

4.2 Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data:

  • With service providers who assist in operating the App
  • When required by law or to protect our rights
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Encrypted database storage
  • Row-level security policies
  • Secure authentication tokens

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Security

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:

  • Account data: Retained until account deletion
  • Posts and content: Retained until you delete them or your account
  • Payment records: Not created for the current submission because payment features are disabled
  • Usage analytics: Aggregated and anonymized after 2 years

7.1 Access and Portability

You can access and export your data through the App's settings (Privacy & Data > Export My Data) or by contacting us.

7.2 Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data through the App's settings (Account > Delete Account). You can also request account or data deletion by contacting office@sharemypint.com and including the email address associated with your account. Some data may be retained as required by law, safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

7.3 Correction

You can update your profile information at any time through the App.

7.4 GDPR Rights (EU Users)

If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights including:

The App is intended for users of legal drinking age in their respective jurisdiction. For the current all-country, US-compatible submission path, the in-app age gate requires users to be 21 or older. We verify user age during registration and may request additional verification. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under the required age.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

  • Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
  • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • Sending an email notification for significant changes
